Role Description Mativ is currently searching for an

Associate Manager, Digital Communications

to join our Neenah® Fine Paper and Packaging (P&P) marketing team. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about visual storytelling across our customers’ and prospects’ digital experiences with our market-leading brands within both our B2B commercial and B2C consumer businesses. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity to work in our corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia at a minimum of 3 days per week.

Reporting to the

Digital Marketing Manager , you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of social media, influencer marketing, web design, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and other digital engagement tactics. You will work in partnership with team members across Marketing Communications (MARCOM), Product Marketing, IT, Sales and Customer Service. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment that challenges them to bring new ideas and solutions. You will participate in strategic development with departmental stakeholders to gather information, coordinate initiatives, gather feedback and ensure projects are on time and on budget. Associate Manager, Digital Communications

will include, but are not limited to, the duties outlined below:

Social Media Management

Update the social media calendar to align with strategies outlined in the yearly integrated marketing plan (IMP)

Work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager and Product Managers to gain appropriate internal approvals for social copy and imagery prior to posting online, ensuring all social content and messaging adheres to brand guidelines, maintains a consistent brand voice and image, and aligns with each social platform’s specific audience

Schedule posts across social platforms (i.e. Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) utilizing content marketing tools, like Sprout Social and Later Analytics

Source, curate and organize relevant, on-brand user-generated content (UGC) and manage permissions to repost

Engage community via monitoring and timely responses to audience posts and direct messages; occasionally offer “surprise and delight” gifts to specific identified audiences

Support content creation workflow by writing briefs and shipping samples to content creators, third-party agencies, and in-house creative team

Resize, crop, and optimize graphics for platform specifications and accessibility; prepare production-ready files for internal and external teams

Create simple thumbnail, template, and presentation materials

Conduct social listening exercises to evaluate audience sentiment, brand successes and opportunities for improvement, competitive communications, and industry trends

Provide monthly reports and analytics on key performance indicators (KPIs) including engagement and follower growth to help achieve stakeholder goals

Photography & Videography Support

Partner with MARCOM team members to identify photography and video needs for social media purposes, including brand and product campaigns, on-site and off-site events, customer interactions, etc.

Write briefs and image shot lists to provide direction to professional photographer partners

Source, acquire and manage materials, samples and props

Attend and assist with off-site photo and video shoots as needed to ensure social media content is captured

Manage imagery consolidation and organization in our data asset management (DAM) system

Manage and archive asset usage rights, licensing terms, and permissions for future reference and compliance

Website(s) Management

Assist the daily management and upkeep of multiple P&P brand websites and page templates; load assets and conduct quality assurance prior to live launch

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to contribute to the design and development of future-state P&P websites, ensuring alignment with brand, accessibility, SEO and usability standards

Craft short-form articles and blog content to enhance company thought leadership across respective industry verticals; publish to site with stakeholder approval

Reformat and repurpose long-form assets (blogs, case studies, campaigns) into short form content for social, email and web

Oversee search engine optimization (SEO), generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) efforts to increase visibility, inbound traffic and qualified leads

Provide monthly site reports and analytics on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify optimization opportunities for measurable growth; translate data into actionable recommendations that inform strategy and continuous improvement

Provide eCommerce retailer analytics via third-party agency partners to understand return on ad spend (ROAS), brand page metrics and campaign successes; translate into recommendations for eComm optimization

Set up marketing campaigns in customer relationship management (CRM) system, specifically Salesforce.com, to manage, track and analyze lead generation activities

Upload leads gained from events and external campaigns to the CRM, cleanse data, and disseminate to sales team managers

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications preferred

2-4 years digital experience required

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Design experience and graphic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Express)

Writing proficiency and AP Stylebook knowledge

Artificial intelligence (AI) education or experience is a nice-to-have, but not required

Ability to work competently between in-person office setting and independent virtual/remote setting

Strong communication skills to articulate and present insights and influence leadership decisions

Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple project concurrently

Highly collaborative; seeks out and responds well to feedback and direction from others
