Lead complex, high-visibility proposal efforts with minimal supervision. Serve as lead writer, editor, and InDesign specialist for major pursuits. Partner with technical leadership on capture planning, win strategies, and messaging. Oversee quality control of content, graphics, and design to ensure consistency and compliance. Provide mentorship and guidance to coordinators and specialists, supporting skill development and professional growth. Help maintain and improve proposal processes, templates, and content libraries. Use AI tools effectively and responsibly to enhance efficiency and consistency. Balance multiple proposals and priorities with expert-level organization and communication. Represent the proposal group in internal initiatives, training, and marketing planning. Performs other marketing-related tasks as directed by the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager. What You Are
You are a team player with a professional demeanor focused on performing a variety of support functions. As a self-starter you have excellent time and task management skills. You are an accomplished communicator both verbal and written. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field. Minimum 9+ years of A/E/C proposal experience. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar CRM systems preferred. Advanced writing, editing, and design capabilities. Expertise in Adobe InDesign and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite. Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills. Ability to manage complex pursuits independently and deliver under tight deadlines. Deep understanding of A/E/C industry proposal processes, including TxDOT and federal pursuits. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and creative problem-solving. Professional, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Benefits
