Position Summary This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a national supply chain network. As Director of Supply Chain Transformation, you will define and lead the company's long‑range U.S. supply chain strategy‑designing the future‑state network that enables growth, resilience, and competitive advantage. You will architect and deliver multi‑year, multi‑site transformation programs that modernize distribution centers, introduce automation and advanced technology, optimize transportation and warehousing, and redesign end‑to‑end flow paths across brands. Operating with enterprise‑wide influence, you will guide high‑value capital investments, oversee large‑scale operational redesigns, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives. This role carries broad authority to set strategic direction, govern transformation programs, approve methodologies, allocate resources, and drive cross‑functional alignment across Operations, Engineering, IT, Finance, Real Estate, HR, and external partners. What You’ll Lead & Deliver Enterprise Strategy & Network Vision
Define and continuously evolve the company’s 5‑10 year supply chain network strategy, including:
Distribution center footprint and capacity planning
Automation and technology roadmap
Transportation network design
End‑to‑end flow‑path optimization
Anticipate and respond to macro trends (labor markets, automation, sustainability, regulatory change, transportation capacity, real‑estate dynamics).
Lead long‑range scenario modeling to guide executive decisions on capital investment, service levels, cost structure, and brand growth.
Leadership of Large‑Scale Transformation Programs
Direct multi‑year, high‑value initiatives including:
New distribution centers
Major facility expansions
Automation deployments
System migrations
Network reconfigurations
Own enterprise governance for transformation programs, including:
Scope and stage‑gate management
Executive steering committee alignment
Risk mitigation and financial oversight
End‑to‑end delivery accountability
Serve as the senior integration leader across Operations, Engineering, Transportation, IT, Real Estate, Construction, Finance, HR, Labor Relations, and key vendors.
Executive Decision‑Making & Governance
Provide strategic frameworks and recommendations for:
Capital approvals
Resource allocation
Technology selection
Network design decisions
Represent supply chain transformation in enterprise governance bodies.
Align brands and functional leaders on priorities, sequencing, and execution pathways.
Ensure rigorous compliance with financial, safety, engineering, and project management standards.
Operational Innovation, Automation & Technology Enablement
Champion the evaluation and scaling of advanced technologies:
Warehouse automation and robotics
Machine learning for forecasting and optimization
Digital execution and visibility platforms
Oversee pilots, proofs of value, and enterprise rollout plans.
Shape the future‑state technical architecture in partnership with IT and Engineering.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
Build deep partnerships with Brand Presidents, Supply Chain Operations leaders, Real Estate, Finance, and IT executives.
Break down silos, clarify decision rights, and create unified execution across brands and functions.
Serve as the connective tissue that turns strategy into results.
Financial Accountability
Own multi‑million‑dollar capital and operating budgets for transformation programs.
Drive cost‑benefit analyses, NPV modeling, and scenario planning.
Ensure initiatives meet or exceed financial, service, and operational performance targets.
Lead financial risk assessments for major investments.
Organizational Leadership & Team Development
Lead a high‑performing team of managers, program leaders, analysts, and external partners.
Build enterprise capability in analytics, engineering, program management, and innovation.
Establish best practices, templates, and standardized processes for transformation delivery.
Coach and develop future leaders in supply chain strategy and execution.
Communication, Influence & Change Leadership
Deliver compelling executive presentations:
Strategy updates
Capital proposals

Lead change management for major structural and operational transitions.

What We’re Looking For Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (required)
Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations Research)
Experience
10‑15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, network strategy, or large‑scale transformation.
5+ years leading large, cross‑functional teams and high‑value programs ($>50M).
Proven success delivering multi‑site or multi‑brand distribution and transportation transformations.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and shape enterprise strategy.
