**THE ROLE** The **Senior Director, Regional Human Resources (Sr HRD)**is a key strategic partner to both the field veterinary teams as well as the broader HR team.
This role is responsible for bringing to life HR & organizational strategies, programs, and protocol that support the veterinary practices. The Sr HRD is engaged in all people & org initiatives, development programs, HR data analytics, health and safety, labor compliance, and execution of strategic plans within the region. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Provides guidance and leadership to the human resource management team; assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Ability to excel with a large scope in a multi-unit, matrix environment.
Professional follow-up and follow-through skills. Excellent time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems; Workday and/or Stand Out a plus.**Education and Experience:** At least ten years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.**The physical requirements of this position are:** This role will require up to 50% domestic overnight travel.
