Overview Brief Description : Responsible for processing and updating government, private, and school bids. Responsible for contributing to assigned bid revenue goals and targets. Supports the sales department in achieving their revenue goals. Conducts customer and co-worker interaction to maintain and improve customer order process through bid systems and to provide customer service.

Job Responsibilities

Organizes and processes bids by deadlines.

Communicates and collaborates with accounting and supply chain when needed regarding pricing and product.

Maintains bid records.

Proactively increases the number of awarded school districts.

Trains sales reps on working bids and recognizing potential bid opportunities.

Ensures bids are kept current and accurate through renewal system.

Builds and maintains a positive working relationship with customers through excellent customer service.

Sells products at established prices or established mark-ups unless an exception is approved by the manager.

Meets or exceeds established goals as decided upon by the representative and manager.

Must be flexible to shift to Support or Service roles.

Handles inbound customer inquiries via telephone, chat, and written correspondence.

Investigates and resolves customer questions, issues, complaints or concerns.

Works overtime in peak demand periods or as needed.

Works with all departments and all employees to uphold company values of Player, Team and Winning.

Upholds and contributes to Champion’s service goals by making service personal for every customer during every interaction and process.

Leads by example by actively supporting our vision and mission statement.

Provides training and assistance to new team members as needed.

Completes position specific training plan and engages in continuous development utilizing a developmental plan.

Completes other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred

6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience in Salesforce a plus, but not required.

Comfortable with a team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as being coachable.

Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to fast paced environment.
