Morin Process Equipment is a leading distributor for process equipment in the southeast. We are a 19-year old company with a strong and established customer base and contacts located with main offices in Pelham, AL (Birmingham) in addition to other area offices around the Southeast. Our customer base includes Power Generation, Chemical Process, Pulp & Paper, Iron & Steel, Coal, Marine, Automotive and general Industrial markets.
The primary function of the
Inside Sales Representative
is to receive inquiries from both customers and outside sales representatives and work on projects to produce quotes to send out in the field. This is NOT a telemarketing type position but taking inbound inquiries and using the information to create quotes and sending them out to our customers. This is a great position for a candidate that wants to start, or continue, their career in industrial sales with rapid growth and opportunity. We want to fill positions in Mobile, Al with our fast growing company and work-force! We need winners ready to go!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting the Outside Sales Team
Building rapport based on Relationships & Trust
Producing proposals & working with our manufacturer’s on pricing and deliveries
Identify, prioritize and qualify profitable selling opportunities within existing and new accounts
Follow up on open quotations and other sales leads as required
Coordinate quotes and other resources between customer and outside sales
Provide timely and courteous resolution to customer problems
Work with the engineering community to provide solutions and specifications on projects
Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
Identify & communicate strengths/weaknesses/opportunities/competition
Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals
Following up on open projects and jobs and expediting projects
Working Conditions
Forty (40) hour work week, extended hours may be required to meet deadlines. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based upon business demand

Requirements
Experience in Industrial Sales preferred, but not required
College degree in Engineering, Business or Industrial Distribution preferred
Computer Skills including Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point
Strong Presentation Skills
Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to Learn!
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to pass training and safety clearances as required
Ability to pass background check & drug test
Able to handle many projects at fast speeds – multi-tasking
Communication skills and Typing abilities a strong plus
