A strategic role requiring development,implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive R&C programme aligned withthe PCS, USA strategy and divisional goals. Overview

MAINRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Develop and implementing an R&C strategy and Target Operating Model to support the PCS USA’s business objectives and growth plans ensuring it is dynamic and adaptable to the evolving risk and regulatory landscape. Provide strategic direction and support to the senior leadership team on risk and compliance matters. Provide strategic insights to the Senior Leadership to support and guide preparation for material regulatory change and initiatives. Develop integrated risk management strategies that align with USA and the broader JTC Group risk management framework. Cultivate relationships with key regulatory bodies and industry groups to influence policy developments and ensure JTC’s interests are represented. Drive initiatives to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour. Develop programmes and incentives that promote risk management and compliance as a core value and competitive advantage. Ensure effective BSA and Compliance programmes are in place to test the adherence to and effectiveness of operational controls and systems designed to mitigate and manage identified risks. Ensure Boards and Committees are provided with timely information and commentary on key risk indicators identifying patterns and trends warranting attention and treatment. Act as the senior R&C attendee in- jurisdiction risk escalations providing support and guidance to the business and using insights gained to evolve R&C practices and training. Support management with internal and external audits (including regulatory examinations). Ensure R&C maintain and deliver a comprehensive training curriculum for the R&C function and the business as a whole. Represent JTC at relevant seminars and conferences. Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours. Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by Management. Essential Requirements

Professional qualification in risk and compliance with a focus on US requirements applicable to regulated financial service providers. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an R&C role at senior management level requiring management of a team in a regulated financial services, fiduciary, or corporate services environment. In-depth knowledge of US Trust Sector laws and regulations. Experience of managing relationships with regulators and auditors. Strong interpersonal skills, including confidence and ability to interact and negotiate with executive and senior management and at all times being solution focused and commercially aware.
