Zartech, a Dallas area startup, has created a game-changing cybersecurity software called Cyberator to help organizations improve their cyber security defenses, reduce business risk, and meet regulatory compliance needs.
We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to primarily set up introductory demo meetings for the sales account managers. Our BDRs play an integral role in the growth of our company, and we are looking to expand our team even further in 2025.
Job Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role in driving a company\'s growth by identifying and engaging potential customers, qualifying leads, and setting the stage for successful sales conversations. Focused primarily on outbound prospecting, BDRs research target markets, initiate contact through calls, emails, and social channels, and nurture relationships to generate qualified opportunities for the sales team. Their efforts are essential in filling the sales pipeline, accelerating revenue growth, and aligning customer needs with the company’s solutions.
Compensation consists of hourly pay + commission for discovery/demo meetings booked.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify and engage potential clients
through outbound calls, targeted emails, LinkedIn outreach, and industry networking, introducing them to Cyberator’s innovative cybersecurity risk and compliance solutions.
Research and qualify prospects , understanding their business challenges, regulatory landscape, and cybersecurity maturity to determine fit and prioritize high-value opportunities.
Schedule strategic discovery meetings and demos
for our Solution Consultants and Sales Executives, ensuring discussions are tailored to the prospect’s needs and objectives.
Maintain accurate and insightful records
of prospect interactions, needs, and next steps in our CRM system, helping drive a data-informed sales process.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams
to refine messaging, campaigns, and account-based strategies that drive engagement and accelerate pipeline growth.
Continuously develop your expertise
in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance to position Cyberator as a trusted advisor, effectively articulating how we help organizations transform inefficient processes into a unified, streamlined GRC program.
Act as an ambassador for Cyberator , representing our mission to help small to mid-sized organizations rapidly identify gaps, align with industry standards, and confidently advance their security roadmap.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of sales work experience performing cold calls preferred
CRM experience would be preferred
Polite, professional and articulate communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-managed professional who can manage multiple tasks
Strong phone presence and ability to overcome objections
Phenomenal work ethic with the willingness and desire to go above and beyond for prospective clients
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
Familiarity with utilizing LinkedIn to conduct research and outreach
