About the RoleWe are looking for a
Lead of Brand and content
to spearhead our brand’s content engine in the U.S. market. At this pivotal stage of our expansion, you will translate global product innovation into high-converting narratives for the American consumer. You’ll be the cultural "insider" for our NYC-based team, driving product-market fit and shaping a brand voice that truly connects with the U.S. audience. Key Responsibilities
Localized Content Strategy & CreationDrive Brand Voice: Drive Brand Voice:
Lead the creation and optimization of all B2C brand copy for the U.S. market, expertly balancing brand storytelling with commercial conversion. Emotional Storytelling:
Translate technical product features into relatable, lifestyle-driven scenarios that resonate with key U.S. audiences (e.g., modern families, comfort-focused urban dwellers). Creative Adaptation:
Lead creative ideation and cultural localization for hero collections, new product launches, and high-impact marketing assets. Deep-Dive Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market, competitor, and consumer research to identify market gaps and product-market fit (PMF). Persona Optimization:
Develop and refine data-driven customer personas using social listening, reviews, and community engagement to provide actionable growth insights. Building & Managing Localized Content Asset Library: Content Modularization:
Standardize content components (e.g., localized hooks, scenario-based transitions, and CTA overlays) to allow for rapid assembly and multi-channel reuse by cross-functional teams (Sales, Paid Ads, Social). Workflow Optimization:
Establish a streamlined tagging and retrieval system for all localized assets to improve the efficiency of cross-departmental content sharing and reduce repetitive production costs. Qualifications
What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications) Cultural & Linguistic Expertise:
Native-level English proficiency with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You are a cultural “insider” with a deep, intuitive grasp of U.S. consumer values, communication styles, and social nuances. Professional Experience:
5+ years of experience in brand marketing, content strategy, or creative copywriting within the U.S. consumer goods market. A strong portfolio showcasing successful brand storytelling or campaigns is required. Analytical & Strategic Thinking:
Proven ability to conduct market research, analyze complex data, and distill it into clear, actionable insights. Cross-Cultural Bridge:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate the "why" behind local cultural logic to non-local/global stakeholders effectively and facilitate the cross-departmental flow of content assets. Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications) Industry Knowledge:
Passion for or foundational knowledge of home textiles, interior design, or lifestyle products (fabrics, construction, design). DTC & Social Fluency:
Deep familiarity with the U.S. e-commerce landscape (especially Amazon/DTC) and content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook. Data-Driven Mindset:
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social listening tools) to measure content performance and optimize strategy. Global Collaboration:
