
The
Associate Field Marketing Manager
is a hands-on role that supports the execution of RaceTrac’s grassroots marketing strategy to drive store traffic, strengthen brand love, and foster community engagement. This individual partners closely with the Field Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to implement grand openings, store support initiatives, and local marketing programs that align with RaceTrac’s business objectives. As a brand ambassador, the Associate Field Marketing Manager builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensures seamless execution of field marketing efforts. What You’ll Do
Provides on-site support to Field Marketing Manager for Tier 1 grand openings in priority markets Leads coordination of Tier 2 grand openings in partnership with the Field Marketing Manager and operations Serves as project manager for store support initiatives, including competitive intrusion, underperforming stores, and new markets; collaborates with the Field Marketing Manager and Brand Manager on overall program strategy Facilitates community advocacy by serving as RaceTrac brand ambassador, engaging directly with local businesses, community members, schools, first responders, and other key stakeholders to create a positive store-level impact Conducts quarterly market visits with Field Marketing Manager to gain insight into local market dynamics, competitive activity, and the overall impact of field marketing initiatives Oversees partnerships inbox inquiries for external field marketing requests, providing thoughtful recommendations, timely responses and clear guidance on next steps Responsible for quarterly field marketing recap to wider marketing team and leadership, including performance metrics and recommendations for optimization Supports Field Marketing Manager with execution of local sponsorship and vendor marketing opportunities that strengthen RaceTrac’s community presence, ensuring alignment with brand standards and expectations Attends on and off-premise field marketing activations to provide support to the RaceTrac field teams and other stakeholders, as needed Oversees the sampling program as the primary marketing contact, collaborating with Field Marketing Manager and merchandising, operations, and agency teams to define sampling priorities and processes, coordinate execution, and track performance Serves as a liaison between marketing, operations, and field teams; leads recurring stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and integration of field marketing into broader initiatives Responsible for administrative functions including, but not limited to: submitting invoices, ordering supplies, gift card processing, managing swag inventory, mailing packages and submitting design requests What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred 2-4+ years of experience in marketing, particularly within a brand-driven company or the food/QSR sector Proven track record of successful project management across marketing initiatives and events Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences Motivated self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, proactive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment Passion for community involvement and a genuine interest in fostering local relationships Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends Ability to travel up to 30% required Fueled by Growth, Driven by You
