Overview
The University of Nevada, Reno is looking for a
Content Producer
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and would like to join an innovative marketing team to promote a growing R1 University. Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, and collaborating closely with the Social Media Communications Officer, Creative Services team, Growth Marketing Manager, and broader communications team, this role bridges storytelling with strategy – developing and executing content aligned with the University’s brand, messaging pillars, and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Produce compelling short-form videos, social-first photo content, and other multimedia assets for digital, social, and marketing platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to bring the University’s story to life across channels.
Blend videography, photography, and content strategy to support brand messaging and goals.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, multimedia, journalism, or related field and two (2) years of related work experience;
OR
Master’s Degree in marketing, communications, multimedia, journalism, or related field and one (1) year of related work experience.
Related Experience:
Multimedia production, video editing, and photography, particularly for social media or digital platforms.
Proven experience in visual storytelling
Schedule and Travel Some early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekend work as needed. Occasional local travel in Reno and Lake Tahoe.
Compensation Compensation Grade
$65,000-$83,000
Compensation Grade - B
Salary is based on related education and experience, internal equity and budgets.
