What does a Sales Analyst do at Rinnai? The Sales Operations Analyst is a self-starter who thrives in a detail-oriented environment. The Operations Analyst reports to the Manager of Sales and Marketing Operations and works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Corporate Finance and Accounting. The Analyst analyzes Distributor sales and pull-through, market share reporting, and ad-hoc analysis, through running reports, mining data, creating summaries, and researching areas of disconnect. The analyst will also work with internal groups to automate reporting packages and document and streamline processes. They will make recommendations to management around reporting improvements and process enhancements and collaborate with internal operational teams for timely delivery of tasks and reports.

Responsibilities

Publish monthly performance reporting.

Perform analysis of monthly and quarterly performance reporting.

Document processes and streamline where applicable.

Interface with Product Management regarding pricing structure and updates to List Price.

Update ERP (Syteline/CSI) with changes and updates (item pricing and matrix).

Manage Market Pricing Programs.

Work with internal groups to automate current manual reporting.

Streamline and document current processes.

Monthly Market Share reporting.

Develop and maintain Power BI reports and Salesforce dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and sources.

Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.

Represent the team in cross-functional work streams and ad hoc analytical projects.

Execution of payments for pro/contractor and builder rebates.

Manage Job Quotes and distribution to sales team.

Support testing, analysis, and reporting in projects across Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Operations, and others.

Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Knowledge

– Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and/or equivalent work-related experience.

Experience applying sound business judgment in responding to sales opportunities and/or resolving contract issues.

Accurate, able to maintain confidentiality and build trust with employees.

Skills

– High attention to detail and accuracy; advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams); advanced Salesforce and Service Now proficiency; analytical, independent work ethic; strong data management and communication skills.

Abilities

– Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines; strong written and verbal skills; contribute to team effectiveness; use metrics and processes for reporting; interpret data and provide summaries to management; deliver to deadlines; work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Activities: constant standing and sitting, frequent communication, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, repetitive motion involving wrists/hands for data entry.
