Sales Manager

Profit Management Produce defined, agreed upon location sales and gross margin suitable for company sustainability and profitable growth.
Assists in developing and executing profit plan to produce budgeted sales volume, gross margin, and efficiencies in the Sales Department.
Ensure that the Sales department executes the Colton Sales Process leading to expected write up and closing ratios.
Assist in planning and facilitating daily training with team members centered around product and process.
Monitor and control Unit Inventory to ensure that they do not age. This includes proper Actual Cash Value (ACV) valuation, reconditioning in a timely manner to expected condition, displaying and maintaining inventory in expected condition, and pricing accordingly.
Maintain and strengthen manufacturer and vendor relationships.
Leadership and Employee Development Creates the best employee experience and leading a cohesive team that is highly aligned with our company culture resulting in a productive work environment and high performing team.
Develops the team through the effective use of reviews, employee development plans, training, and the proper use of promotions, rewards and disciplinary tools.
Effectively coaches and role models the Colton Advantage and daily store activities including customer service and selling, resulting in increased employee productivity and satisfaction.
Ensures that departments are properly structured and staffed with ideal team players with a focus on effective recruiting.
Proactively identifies and resolves employee issues and concerns
Distributes and communicates general and department specific company policies and procedures, as well as performance tracking and goals on behalf of and to both management and employees within their location.
Customer Loyalty Creates an environment that results in an unmatched customer experience resulting in customer loyalty and strong market share.
Achieves an agreed upon high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty with timely service and support, effective follow-up using our tools, systems, and processes.
Ensures products are professionally displayed, and facilities, equipment, and grounds are clean, safe, organized, professional in appearance, regularly maintained, and secured.
Communicates and executes the strategic marketing plan developed by company leadership and marketing team.
Requirements Education, Experience, and Work Requirements
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of in-store management leadership role in a sales environment
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays (as needed), and special events
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve great success
Mentoring, coaching, and the development of skills
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as the ability to learn proprietary programs
