Overview

As an assistant director of admission, you will travel extensively to strategically selected high schools, colleges, and other locations, representing SCAD to prospective students and fostering ongoing professional and institutional relationships. This includes participation in school-specific initiatives, information sessions, college fairs, conferences, workshops, and other recruitment events. You will follow up with prospective students by phone or email to discuss their interests and inquiries about university opportunities and maintain accurate recruitment records. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni that benefit the university. Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled one-on-one appointments with prospective students and meet with students visiting SCAD Atlanta. Strive to increase positive awareness of SCAD to support and facilitate successful college search processes for students. Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences. Travel to strategically selected high schools, colleges, and relevant locations as part of recruitment activities. Participate in information sessions, college fairs, conferences, workshops, and other recruitment events. Follow up with prospective students by phone or email to discuss interests and inquiries. Maintain accurate recruitment records and manage relationships with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Able and willing to travel extensively and work flexible hours Travel

Travel required: More than 50% Work hours

The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings. ADA
