About the Club:
Mt. Hawley Country Club is a private 18‑hole club founded in 1922. Its name honors the original land owning family and its scenic overlook view of the Illinois River. The membership and grounds staff take great pride in its 100 year old club. The golf course is expected to be maintained at the highest quality and standards. Many renovations have taken place in recent years. The entire course was renovated in 1997; including the construction of California style greens. Recent renovations have resulted in a new maintenance facility, new irrigation system, new cart paths, and new Better Billy Bunkers in 2025. The club has begun planning renovations to tee complexes, landscaping, addition of no‑mow/fescue areas, and new tennis and pickleball courts. Tennis and pickleball courts are scheduled to be completed in 2026.
