The Superintendent’s Office serves as the central hub for district leadership, governance, and strategic direction. This office supports the Superintendent and Board of Trustees in advancing the district’s vision, ensuring transparent operations, and maintaining strong relationships with staff, families, and the broader community. The work of this team directly impacts district-wide decision-making, policy development, and organizational effectiveness. About the Role
The Executive Assistant, Superintendent and Board of Trustees provides confidential, high-level administrative, secretarial, and office support to the Superintendent and Board of Trustees. This role requires exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex schedules, sensitive information, and competing priorities. The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner, helping ensure the efficient operation of executive functions, board governance processes, and key district initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Provide confidential executive-level administrative support to the Superintendent and Board of Trustees Prepare correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes, and briefing materials for Board and executive meetings Coordinate Board of Trustees meetings, standing committees, elections, and onboarding of new Board members Maintain official Board and Superintendent records, calendars, travel arrangements, and communications Assist with drafting and coordinating Board policies, executive reports, and governance documents Manage Superintendent and Board budgets, purchasing, expenditures, and reconciliations Serve as a liaison with staff, Board members, community members, and external stakeholders Support legislative relations activities and executive leadership initiatives Attend all Board meetings and support follow-up on action items Assign and distribute work to other staff and volunteers as needed Qualifications
Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher education and six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Why Choose Round Rock ISD
