As Associate Director, Analytics & Insights, you will play a key role on the Strategy / Commerce Experience (CX) team designing and delivering analytical solutions to support and elevate the analytics function within Arc. Within this role you will collaborate closely with Account and CX Media teams, fostering cross-functional partnerships to design and implement analytics solutions across a variety of commerce and retail media campaigns. You will lead the building, development, and delivery of modern end-to-end reporting services. These services support future analytics solutions tailored to CPG/retail needs. This role combines deep industry expertise with advanced data science and modeling skills. It leads all aspects of implementing innovative solutions. It uses both proprietary and acquired data to meet client needs and align with broader Groupe objectives. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing Science, Economics, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or consulting for the CPG and/or Retail sector Proven experience in client-facing roles, delivering advanced analytic solutions for CPG/retail clients. Understanding of industry-vertical business processes (e.g., sales, distribution, supply chain, trade marketing) and a passion for leveraging data to drive innovation in the industry Expertise in brand tracking studies, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), brand lift studies, balancing advertising and promotion goals, brand equity/brand building, performance marketing metrics, analytic frameworks and measurement models used in the CPG/retail sector Technical Skills: Sufficient applied knowledge of advanced analytics methods that enable audience segmentation, budget scenario planning, and test & learn experimental designs. Certifications in analytics or data science (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Certified Analytics Professional) Practical experience and understanding of the general AdTech/MarTech platform and vendor landscape (e.g., clean rooms, AMC, LiveRamp, Adobe, Salesforce), data cloud/mesh/lakes (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS), and data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) Practical exposure to BI visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau). Experience with CPG/Retail data sources both Publicis-proprietary and third party, as well as trending industry software solutions Responsibilities
Lead development and reporting services to build high-quality automated analytics solutions and help strengthen the core of our analytics application platform. Serve as a key resource to organize and benchmark individual commerce media program results, provide performance insights and optimization recommendations as well as identify cross program macro trends and optimizations across different brand, category and retailer programs. Collaborate closely with both internal and client teams to design and develop cutting-edge analytics solutions, define technical requirements, and oversee the development lifecycle. Use data storytelling to communicate with a variety of different audiences and stakeholders based on their unique needs, be it internal teams, client customer marketing managers or client sales teams Additional Responsibilities Integrate data and technology to help drive product development and roadmap creation, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable analytics / insights applications that enhance client business outcomes. Spearhead the development, testing, and assessment of analytics platform capabilities, productivity tools, and applications to drive impactful results. Propose and own the utility of analytic frameworks tailored to address specific client needs within the CPG & Retail vertical. Use category knowledge to assess current capabilities and data science offerings internally at Publicis across audience insights, investment strategy, media activation, measurement, and budget optimization, and then propose and own an Analytic Solutions Roadmap for the vertical.
