Status: Non-Exempt; Grade: 7; Salary Range: $19.56 - $30.22; Location: New York City, NY.
Summary of Position The Sales Assistant is responsible in assisting the EVP with essential administrative and operational functions, acting as liaison internally with Sales and the Customer Experience (CX) Representatives and externally with specific manufacturer relationships.
Responsibilities
Generate weekly pipeline reports by Loan Officer.
Maintain and update the sales pipeline assuring transparency with the CX and various departments.
Work closely with the Loan Officers with travel calendars and trip and site visit reporting.
Point of contact with specific manufacturers communicating transaction updates.
Coordinate manufacturer reporting on monthly sales volume and buy down programs.
Maintain monthly vendor incentive programs.
Collaborate with sales and marketing on programs and specific promotions.
Maintain CRM updating and tracking lead assignments and follow-up.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and marketing materials for sales meetings and client outreach.
Create and maintain customer/borrower/vendor lists and LO assignments.
Prepare and distribute sales-related correspondence, follow-ups, and information requests.
Attend sales meetings to document action items and follow-up.
Work closely with Sales and Collections to assist with delinquent accounts.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in sales support, client service within financial services
Organized, detail-oriented multitasker who thrives under pressure.
Outstanding communicator—professional, approachable, and client-focused.
Trustworthy with confidential info and a true team player eager to learn and grow.
General familiarity with commercial lending or equipment finance preferred
Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced sales environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce, nCino or similar)
