We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Operations Specialist with a focus on Microsoft products to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the end-to-end process of providing technical solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include preparing customer quotes for a variety of products and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement processes. If you have a strong background in technical sales, procurement, and a deep understanding of IT hardware and software, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Prepare Customer Quotes
Manage renewal schedule for Microsoft AOS-G product line. Generate quotes for end user equipment, including laptops, desktop PCs, and peripherals. Handle Microsoft licensing quotes for both Cloud and On-premise solutions. Provide quotes for network and server hardware and software required for infrastructure projects. Include service add-ons for BCDR solutions, spam filtering, and cybersecurity awareness training. Microsoft Partner Central Management
Manage activities on Microsoft Partner Central, including updating CPOR and PAL tagging for new and existing customers. Vendor and Partner Relationship Management
Maintain and develop strong relationships with vendors and partners to enhance our buying power. Supply Chain and Product Catalog Management
Manage the vendor supply chain and product catalog effectively. Place purchase orders based on approved quotes and track purchased equipment through handoff to operations or project teams. Requirements/Qualifications
Demonstrate an understanding of computer hardware specifications for business environments. Experience with Microsoft product catalog, especially cloud licensing levels and administration of CSP programs. Knowledge of server hardware components and operating systems, with an understanding of SMB vs Enterprise level needs. Familiarity with MS Azure to quote cloud resources to customers. Previous experience working with IT/MSP industry vendors. Nice to Have
Experience with VMware and FortiGate licensing. Ensure monthly updates of product pricing information, transparent to internal stakeholders. Aim for quick turnaround times on quotes: 1-2 business days for end user hardware and 3-5 business days for infrastructure hardware.
