CES/AWS is looking for a Sales Manager for our mining client in Franklin, TN

Location: Franklin, TN Direct Hire Salary Range: $150k – $160k Willingness to travel across US (approximately 30%-50%).

About the Role Our client is seeking a

Sales Manager – Mining

to lead our mining and minerals business across the United States. This role is responsible for growing market share, increasing profitability, and building long-term customer relationships while leading and coaching a team of Account Managers.

You will play a key role in selling wear parts and digital performance solutions, including grinding media, mill liners, and optimization technologies, while supporting high-value customer negotiations and expanding into new markets.

What You’ll Do

Expand business with existing mining customers and develop new opportunities

Increase market share through strategic account planning and value-based selling

Build strong relationships with procurement, technical, and operations teams

Lead Sales Strategy & Execution

Create and execute regional sales plans aligned with North American goals

Support and lead key customer negotiations and long-term contracts

Track performance against sales, margin, and market share targets

Lead and Develop the Sales Team

Coach and develop Account Managers to sell into complex mining organizations

Drive strong account planning focused on long-term partnerships

Promote collaboration across regions and internal teams

Territory & Market Expansion

Identify under-served markets and define strategies to grow in new regions

Work with dealers, recyclers, and crushing operations to grow coverage

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with manufacturing plants and technical teams to ensure customer commitments are met

Resolve issues quickly and support smooth execution

Forecasting & Budget Management

Manage regional sales budgets and forecasts

Adjust plans based on customer demand and market conditions

Marketing & Industry Presence

Represent company at trade shows, customer events, and industry meetings

Support marketing campaigns and sales tools

What We’re Looking For

Proven sales leadership experience in

mining, minerals, or wear parts

Strong track record of

growing market share and managing large customer accounts

Experience leading

high-value negotiations

Knowledge of

mineral processing and mining applications

Ability to lead and coach a high-performing sales team

Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

Willingness to

travel about 30%-50% across the U.S.
