
About The Role
Grade Level (for internal use):
08 Virtual: United States S&P Global Mobility is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Insurance Solutions group. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of account management experience, preferably within the auto insurance sector in areas such as underwriting, claims, fraud, and actuarial departments. This role is pivotal in nurturing and expanding relationships with our third-party resellers, primarily within the insurance industry, as well as other sectors including tolling and asset recovery.
Responsibilities And Impact
Manage and expand relationships for a book of business of third-party reseller partners, optimizing revenue streams and transactional volume. Identify and address customer issues, collaborating with our data and operations teams to ensure effective solution delivery. Attend trade shows, client offices, and key industry events to represent S&P Global Mobility and foster expanded business opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends and developments, sharing insights internally to enhance our strategic approach. Partner with Product teams to develop new solutions and improve existing offerings in response to customer needs. Optimize pricing structures to ensure competitiveness and profitability for our clients. Work closely with contracts and legal departments to navigate agreements and compliance.
Compensation/Benefits Information
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000 USD. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. What We're Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications: 5-10 years of account management experience, ideally in the auto insurance sector or related entities that support it. Experience working with and negotiating contracts. Familiarity with DPPA and privacy regulations is a plus. Experience carrying a sales quota is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients both virtually and in-person. Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments. Background in contract management and legal compliance is preferred. Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%
