
Product Acceptance Specialist (contract)

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Physical requirements: no physical requirements. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Client is looking for an Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level C) to support their Program based in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Primary Responsibilities
Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
Provides objective evidence of results.
Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
Must support inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statement majority of the time.
Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.
Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC site.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES
Composite fabrication experience
Structural work experience (wing work)
Wiring
Production testing experience
1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
A&P License
Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis
Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool assisted inspection methods
Experience in a team environment
Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
787 Program Experience
