
Position: Business Immigration Paralegal
Location: New York, NY
Onsite Logstics: (3) days a week
Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 with additional OT and Bonus Responsibilities
Handle case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies; including, document gathering, document review, case drafting, and case filing. Assist lawyers in the preparation of documents, forms, and letters utilizing web-based software and adapting resources when required to deviate from templates. Communicate and follow-up with attorneys, clients, and government agencies to ensure delivery and receipt of materials. Schedule and calendar meetings and monitor timelines and case status. Conduct research to obtain information such as, but not limited to, industry or company information, wage data, or processing procedures and timelines. Evaluate cases, relay concerns, and proactively elevate to attorneys. Administrative duties, including file organization, scanning, e-filing, billing, engagement letter preparation, and file maintenance. Education Requirements
A minimum of 4 years' experience as an immigration paralegal, preferably in a law firm.
