- Partner with Finance to develop and manage the IT budget, tracking spend, evaluating ROI, and making data‑driven recommendations to optimize resources.
- Analyze system performance, security metrics, incidents, and operational data to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
- Support audits and compliance activities (e.g., SOX, CCPA, PCI) through documentation, controls, and ongoing readiness.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with responsibility for infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated experience leading IT teams in a hands‑on, player‑coach capacity, with accountability for both strategy and execution.
- Strong technical background across IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), enterprise systems, and cybersecurity controls.
- Proven experience developing and sustaining IT standards, procedures, and security controls actively used across the organization.
- Hands‑on experience managing cybersecurity risk, incident response, and remediation efforts in a production or regulated environment.
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance and audit readiness (e.g., SOX, CCPA, PCI) through documentation, controls, and ongoing governance.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, and managing technology vendors and service providers, including contract and SLA oversight.
- Working knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner cross‑functionally, influence decision‑making, and drive change.
You’ll Excel If You:
- Thrive in a player‑coach role, balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, taking ownership of outcomes from problem to solution.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and build trust with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Approach cybersecurity with a practical, risk‑based mindset that protects the business while enabling progress.
- Enjoy building structure—standards, documentation, and repeatable processes—that scales with the organization.
