The Role As an Architectural Designer / Computational Designer, you will contribute to projects across multiple scales and typologies, with a focus on conceptual design, parametric exploration, and design development. You will play an active role in:

Leading and contributing to early-stage design concepts

Advancing designs from concept through schematic design and beyond

Helping elevate Arrowstreet’s internal design culture through experimentation, research, and collaboration

Responsibilities

Develop and lead design and computational workflows using parametric and algorithmic tools

Produce high-quality conceptual diagrams, visual narratives, and design studies

Create and refine parametric models to explore geometry, systems, performance, and variation

Collaborate with project teams across architecture, interiors, and experiential design

Integrate feedback iteratively while maintaining strong design vision

Contribute to Arrowstreet’s broader design excellence, innovation, and sustainability initiatives

Qualifications Required

Rhino + Grasshopper (advanced) with performance-driven workflows

Strong visualization and graphic communication

Understanding of videos as a design communication medium

Experience translating complex computational ideas into clear architectural outcomes

Understanding of emerging technologies, AI-assisted workflows, sustainability, and future-oriented design methodologies

Commitment to in-office collaboration as part of a design-driven studio culture

Preferred

Stable Diffusion / SDXL / ControlNet

Python or scripting

Unreal Engine or real-time engines

Performance-driven design tools
