Overview

The Leasing Specialist coordinates all requests from military families with the property management team and assists in daily leasing functions of the PPV housing office, including leasing homes to prospective clients, qualifying applicants, executing leases, maintaining resident files, and ensuring compliance with Hunt Military Communities policies and government requirements. What You Will Do

Coordinates all requests from military families with the property management team. Performs all leasing functions including showing vacant units and executing leases and renewals. Qualifies applicants in accordance with government compliance requirements. Coordinates move‑in dates and pre‑move‑in inspections with incoming military families. Coordinates move‑outs, pre‑inspection, and final inspection for outgoing families, calculating damage charges and delivering final utility bills. Receives and records service requests and disburses them to the appropriate maintenance director. Maintains resident file jackets and maintenance file jackets. Performs routine market analysis reports. Assists the Community Director and/or Community Manager in ensuring that the property follows legal requirements. Organizes social events, educational classes, physical activities, and family functions, which may require flexible hours. Recommends advertising and marketing strategies to attract traffic to the property. Researches and analyzes current market rates, economic trends, and competitive properties to develop property concepts. Markets the property by advertising vacancies, identifying prospective tenants, and distributing marketing materials. Prepares properties for showing by inspecting premises. Shows properties by setting appointments and highlighting benefits such as location, transportation, and amenities. Completes leases by reviewing contract requirements, negotiating terms, and obtaining signatures and deposits. Creates and places advertising in all venues, including social media. Requires driving for the company using a company vehicle or personal/rental vehicle more than 50% of the time. Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related discipline preferred. Previous leasing experience required. Experience with computers and typical office software (Email, Word, Excel, internet browsers) required. Strong customer service skills. Ability to show houses in all weather conditions. Demonstrated judgment and discretion with confidential information. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines. High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic. Independent problem‑solving skills. Reliable, self‑motivated team player with attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strategic thinking to address complex business issues. Initiative to identify client needs and recommend implementation. Valid driver's license required. Benefits
