Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as a liaison with internal and external collaborators on all matters relating to grant activities.
Represents the University of Arizona with respect to program activities on a local, regional, and/or national basis.
Helps investigators disseminate research opportunities and findings in culturally appropriate contexts such as creating bilingual brochures, presentations, newsletters.
Develops and sustains partnerships with primary care clinics, health councils, Community Health Workers and Representatives (CHW/Rs), county health departments, and other health-related organizations.
Engages with new communities by reaching out to interested/affected communities in Arizona.
Provides day-to-day problem solving as necessary on program-related needs and issues.
Creates, produces, and delivers a range of promotional, educational, and informational presentations, and/or resource materials related to program activities and initiatives to academic, state, local communities, and other audiences.
Tracks program activity data.
Develops, writes, edits, and assists with required grant reports.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
3 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience working with rural communities.
Experience with outreach efforts related to human subject research.
