Position Summary The Account Executive is responsible for executing and driving the DKNY Footwear division’s overall sales strategy. This role identifies new business opportunities across retail and wholesale accounts while maintaining and growing existing partnerships. The Account Executive supports divisional sales targets, profit margins, and inventory goals through strong account management, strategic selling, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets through business and product strategies that optimize revenue and profitability for both accounts and the organization.

Identify, penetrate, and develop new markets while strengthening existing customer relationships.

Maintain regular communication with accounts regarding new orders, reorders, order management, shipping schedules, distribution changes, delivery acceleration, and cancellations.

Analyze weekly sales performance and inventory levels to provide data-driven recommendations.

Execute operational sales duties including tracking selling performance, monitoring markdowns, placing and managing orders, and aligning delivery timing with inventory needs.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure account requirements are met and operational execution is seamless.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s Degree required.

5+ years of wholesale footwear sales experience preferred.

Experience working with Amazon and independent retail accounts strongly preferred.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Strong selling, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.

Ability to work on-site in the New York showroom and office five days per week.

Compensation Salary Position: $100,000 – $115,000
