
Oncology Sales Specialist - Malignant Hematology - Knoxville

Role Summary
This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Tri Cities and the surrounding area. The Oncology Sales Specialist will deliver sales performance and promote products within the oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolio, requiring strong commercial insight, adaptability to digital tools, and a customer-focused approach in a competitive market. Responsibilities
Collaborate cross-functionally in each geography as ONE team, demonstrating influential leadership to achieve shared goals. Demonstrate self-awareness, a passion for learning, and the ability to inspire others while embracing change to optimize execution. Deliver messages clearly to customers, handle objections, and close calls with a commitment to action to drive behavior change. Maintain deep understanding of territory market landscape, competitors, market dynamics, and clinical data to optimize execution. Develop and execute a call-plan to achieve goals, improving access and sales opportunities while promoting a technical product portfolio. Understand the local healthcare system, EMRs, pathways, and PA-claims processing; develop and execute account-level plans. Use sales data tools to identify trends and combine with customer insights to grow territory and customer opportunities. Utilize social media to capture customer insights and drive tactical execution and improved customer experience. Move between non-digital and digital settings and use non-personal tools to deliver customized customer experiences. Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university. Required:
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similar industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years, or equivalent complex sales environments. Required:
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment; communicate clinical product information; track record of high performance; experience selling to large accounts and key segments. Required:
Self-starter with analytical abilities; ethical leadership; compliance with company policies and laws. Required:
Residence within the territory or within 50 miles of the territory border; ability to travel 60-80%; valid driver’s license. Preferred:
Experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, and account management strategy; familiarity with patient services, market access, reimbursement pathways. Education
Bachelor’s degree required from a 4-year college or university. Additional Requirements
Travel up to 60-80% over a broad geography; valid driver’s license is required.
