Position Overview
The
SFE Manager
will be responsible for driving sales force productivity and commercial excellence within the country. This role focuses on data-driven insights, process optimization, and sales performance management to ensure the sales team operates at peak effectiveness. The incumbent will collaborate with the in-country Sales, Marketing, to design and implement SFE initiatives aligned with business objectives. The role also works very closely with the CoE teams based in Hyderabad, India.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Force Strategy & Deployment
Design and maintain territory alignment and resource allocation models.
Develop call planning and frequency strategies to maximize customer coverage.
Performance Management & Analytics
Define and track KPIs for sales force productivity and effectiveness.
Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to provide actionable insights.
Incentive Compensation
Support design and administration of incentive schemes in collaboration with HR and Finance.
Monitor payout accuracy and assess incentive effectiveness.
Process Excellence
Standardize SFE processes and tools to ensure consistency and scalability.
Drive continuous improvement in sales operations and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to align SFE initiatives with business priorities.
Act as a trusted advisor on sales force optimization.
Qualifications & Experience Education:
Graduate degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
Experience:
10+ years overall experience, with minimum
3 years in core SFE roles
(territory design, incentive planning, performance analytics).
Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
Familiarity with CRM systems and field force automation platforms.
Key Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate across functions without direct authority.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
