
Kalos Services is seeking a
hands-on Commercial Construction Superintendent
to lead and manage
night-shift operations on primarily large-scale commercial remodel projects , with additional commercial construction projects throughout South Florida. This role is ideal for a field-first leader who thrives on-site, leads from the front, and takes full ownership of execution, safety, and results. We’re looking for a superintendent who is
actively involved in nightly operations —setting up job sites, supporting crews, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring productivity and alignment from start to finish. Your presence on the jobsite is critical to keeping work moving efficiently during overnight hours. Compensation
Salary:
$80,000 – $95,000 annually (based on experience) Travel Requirements
This role requires flexibility to travel to various job sites as projects demand from West Palm Beach to Homestead, FL. While advance notice is provided whenever possible, candidates must be willing to travel or temporarily relocate as needed. Flexibility and reliability are essential to success in this position. Responsibilities
Conduct an on-site inspection beginning at
8:30 PM , leading nightly jobsite setup Manage access control for gates, laydown areas, and Conex containers Distribute job badges and conduct nightly
toolbox talks
with team leads Set clear expectations and assign nightly tasks based on the scope of work Walk the jobsite regularly to ensure
safety, productivity, and quality workmanship Support crews directly with
basic tools, layout, measurements, and setup
as needed Capture and share progress photos through designated communication channels Ensure end-of-shift reporting and site cleanup protocols are completed Oversee transition walkthroughs with the day-shift superintendent Attend customer or internal meetings as required Serve as the primary
problem-solver and support resource
for crews throughout the night Perform other duties as needed to ensure overall project success Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Foreman or Superintendent Hands-on knowledge of
basic tools, layout methods, construction sequencing , and nightly logistics Ability to
read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications Familiarity with
steel erection , retrofits, and upfits is a plus—but leadership is key OSHA 30 certification
preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong organizational and communication skills Proven ability to
lead, teach, and motivate field teams Proficient in using measurement tools and conducting take-offs Basic computer/scheduling software skills Familiarity with
South Florida-area construction codes
