About the Event Staff Role As Event Staff, you are the front line of our parties and events. You'll help set up and run music‑themed birthday parties, community events, and occasional off‑site programs. You'll greet families, keep events organized and on schedule, and help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for kids and parents.
What you’ll do
Set up and break down event spaces (tables, light equipment, decorations, materials)
Greet families and guests and guide them through the event schedule
Assist instructors or hosts with games, music activities, and transitions
Help manage flow: check‑in, timing, coordinating with parents and staff
Keep the space tidy and safe during and after events
Represent Bach to Rock professionally with friendly, upbeat communication
What we’re looking for
Comfortable working with children and parents in a high‑energy environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled events
Available for weekends and some evenings (primary event times)
Consistent, reliable transportation to our Herndon location and off‑site eventsPrior experience in customer service, events, camps, childcare, or hospitality is a plus
Schedule & Pay Part‑time, as needed, based on event schedule. Typical shifts are 3–6 hours, primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Pay Range: $17–$18 per hour, based on experience.
