We are seeking a motivated Regional Sales Engineer to drive sales growth in Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to identify opportunities, demonstrate product value, and close deals with key clients in aerospace manufacturing, defense contractors, and related sectors. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for technology and a proven track record in technical sales. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, focusing on telemetry hardware, software, and integrated solutions. Identify and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and LinkedIn outreach. Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept trials to showcase AeroGear's telemetry systems. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to customize solutions based on client needs, including system integration and performance optimization. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, providing ongoing support and upsell opportunities. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and sales tactics. Travel within the region (up to 50%) for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits. Track sales pipeline using CRM tools and report on progress to leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CSE) a plus. 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in aerospace, telemetry, or IoT/sensor technologies. Strong understanding of telemetry systems, data analytics, and aerospace applications. Proven ability to close complex deals with technical buyers. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools. Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. What We Offer
