The Role As a

Strategic Business Development Representative (BDR) , you will identify and engage key manufacturing stakeholders, uncover challenges and create opportunities to showcase how our platform delivers operational excellence. This is a dynamic role for proactive individuals with exceptional communication skills eager to contribute to a high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Targeted Prospecting: Identify and research potential manufacturing clients using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, and CRM software.

Strategic Outreach: Conduct tailored, multi‑channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, social) to plant managers, operations leaders, and decision‑makers.

Lead Qualification: Engage prospects to understand their challenges, assess fit, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team.

Collaboration: Partner with marketing and sales to align outreach strategies with campaigns and refine messaging for manufacturing audiences.

CRM Management: Keep Salesforce or other CRM tools up‑to‑date with outreach activities, lead statuses, and pipeline progression.

Industry Expertise: Stay informed about manufacturing trends like smart factories, IoT, and data‑driven operations to position Litmus.io as a trusted partner.

What we’re looking for

Experience: 2‑4 years in pre‑sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles; manufacturing or industrial technology experience is a strong plus.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French (a must); skills in Spanish or Italian is a plus.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect manufacturing challenges with Litmus.io’s solutions effectively.

Tech‑Savvy: Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tools (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo).

Resilience & Drive: Persistent, motivated, and ready to navigate long sales cycles and complex buyer journeys.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing operations, Industry 4.0 concepts, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Preferred Qualifications

Outbound prospecting or lead generation experience in manufacturing or industrial technology sectors.

Knowledge of edge computing, IoT, or industrial automation solutions.

Familiarity with sales methodologies like Challenger Sales, SPIN, or Sandler.
