
Overview
Focus Partners Wealth is seeking a Marketing Strategist. The Marketing Strategist develops and executes integrated marketing campaigns across key business segments to drive growth and visibility. This position serves as the primary marketing lead for Focus Partners Advisor Solutions while also contributing to firmwide marketing and growth initiatives. The role combines hands-on execution with high-level strategic planning, ensuring alignment and optimization across Focus Partners Advisor Solutions and broader firm initiatives. Limited travel may be required. Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 days per week, or as assigned by their team leader.
Key Responsibilities
Focus Partners Advisor Solutions (Primary Responsibility) — Develop and execute a growth-focused marketing plan supporting Focus Partners Advisor Solutions business objectives.
Lead creation of targeted campaigns (email, ad and other digital), events/conference strategies, webinars, website development, and social media efforts.
Partner with the Marketing Content team to develop and refine marketing collateral for advisor and in-person use.
Collaborate with Focus Partners Advisor Solutions leadership and Marketing and Communications leaders to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and align messaging.
Work closely with Focus Partners Advisor Solutions sales team to enhance sales pipeline processes, tools and communication.
Track annual metrics and KPIs in partnership with the Focus Partners Advisor Solutions Advisor Relations team to monitor campaign success and Focus Partners Advisor Solutions growth; helping translate into reportable metrics for the team’s benefit.
Lead frequent update calls with Focus Partners Advisor Solutions team leads, regional managers, and the broader growth team to identify needs and opportunities, assess and share progress updates.
Partner with the Digital and Content teams to ensure all Focus Partners Advisor Solutions resources are accurate, current, and accessible via the advisor portal.
Provide prospecting conference support aimed at increased attendance and engagement including pre- and post-conference outreach, development of relevant prospect-specific collateral, and responsibility for booth aesthetic design and needs.
Broader Firmwide and Growth Support
Support broader Focus business development initiatives and campaign execution as needed.
Provide strategic and project management support for growth initiatives and marketing campaigns.
Contribute insights and structure to advance marketing operations and improve consistency, scalability, and efficiency across programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
5+ years in marketing strategy, brand management, or communications, preferably within the financial industry, specifically TAMP or advisor services.
Demonstrated ability to connect firm-level objectives to actionable marketing strategies with measurable impact.
Skilled at developing and implementing marketing processes and standards.
Able to collaborate and clearly negotiate priorities and timelines.
Experience managing projects including multi-layered, long-term marketing initiatives.
Ability to communicate in an efficient, reliable, and timely manner.
The ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing and presentation skills; confident presenting to senior leadership.
Ability to evaluate performance data, adjust course, and strengthen results through insights and iteration.
Understanding of marketing requirements within the RIA or financial advisory space, with a balance of creativity and precision.
Confident, pragmatic, and collaborative; energized by shaping structure and driving results through influence and clarity.
Compensation and Benefits The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000- $90,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
