Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Designer, where you will lead the development of custom industrial machinery, conveyor systems, and automated equipment that power modern manufacturing and material‑handling operations.
Responsibilities
Lead medium-scale design projects with budget and quality oversight
Independently solve design challenges and coordinate across disciplines
Produce final plans, specifications, and evaluate construction outcomes
Serve as Job Captain on single or multi-discipline projects
Prepare and review construction budgets and scopes of work
Perform project management and oversee design team tasks
Develop new design approaches and represent the team in client meetings
Estimate total design and construction costs
Skills & Qualifications
Associate degree or post-secondary engineering training preferred
15+ years as a Designer
Experience in machine design, material handling equipment, conveyors automation and equipment design, ductwork systems, and fabrication weldments
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Valid driver’s license required
Work Environment The work environment is dynamic and may require some travel, so a valid driver’s license is necessary.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00/hr.
