This is not a maintenance role. It’s a relationship-driven, revenue-impact seat inside a growing financial services firm that wins by trust, precision, and partnership. A purpose-driven, family-owned financial services company is hiring an Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of strategic partners, primarily in the PEO space, while helping small businesses access flexible capital when they need it most. This role blends account management, financial acumen, and consultative sales, with clear upside as the company scales. They’re looking for a confident, emotionally intelligent relationship builder who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and wants to grow into a broader sales role over time. This is a remote position in Texas or Ohio.

Account Manager Responsibilities

Build, manage, and deepen relationships with assigned partners, including PEOs, PEO brokers, CPAs, and adjacent referral sources

Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring strong communication, alignment, and satisfaction

Develop and execute partner account plans, including business reviews, marketing calendars, and growth strategies

Support partners with product education, training, and deal support to drive funded volume

Collaborate with leadership and marketing to execute joint campaigns, email initiatives, and demand-generation efforts

Track partner performance, pipeline activity, and KPIs in HubSpot

Attend partner training, industry events, and conferences

Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and, over time, help bring on new strategic partners

Stay current on industry trends, competitive offers, and client needs to inform strategy and recommendations

Account Manager Requirements

3 - 5+ years of account management experience, ideally in financial services, PEO, HR, accounting, or adjacent industries

Experience working within an indirect or partner-driven sales model

Proven ability to build trust-based, long-term relationships

Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

Confident, polished communicator with high emotional intelligence

Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Experience using CRM systems and MS Office 365

Willingness to travel nationally for partner meetings and events

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred

HubSpot strongly preferred
