Role Overview
Compensation:
~$61,000 total ($25,000 base + ~$36,000 commission)
Hours:
Part-time, 20 hours/week
Location:
Remote with travel

The MTJGD™ Sales Representative drives new revenue by acquiring and converting dance studio owners and industry partners into MTJGD™ members and customers through outbound sales, relationship-building, and consultative selling. Experience in the dance industry, specifically sales, strongly preferred but not required.
This role is best suited for an experienced B2B sales professional who is results-driven, confident communicating value, and motivated by long-term relationship building. Success requires consistent prospecting, full-cycle sales ownership, accurate forecasting, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
The role focuses exclusively on MTJGD™ and is supported by Ensemble Performing Arts’ centralized sales, marketing, operations, administrative teams, paid marketing resources, training, and mentorship.
Reports to Alana Hess, Director of MTJGD™, and partners closely with internal teams.
Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition (Primary Focus)
Prospect and acquire new clients, primarily dance studio owners and directors
Generate leads via outbound outreach, referrals, networking, events, social outreach, ABM, and partnerships
Maintain a consistent pipeline through daily outreach and weekly prospecting goals
Conduct discovery calls to assess needs, budgets, timelines, and decision-makers
Own the full sales cycle from outreach through close
Revenue, Pipeline & Forecasting
Meet monthly and quarterly new revenue targets
Maintain weekly activity and conversion benchmarks
Manage a clearly staged pipeline with accurate weekly revenue forecasts
Product Sales & Positioning
Present MTJGD™ offerings by aligning benefits to client goals and mission
Recommend appropriate membership levels and guide adoption
Address objections and communicate pricing and implementation clearly
CRM & Sales Operations
Log all activity in KEAP within 24 hours
Maintain accurate records of contacts, stages, next steps, and follow-ups
Use CRM reporting to track performance and conversion rates
Collaboration & Feedback
Align with marketing on messaging, follow-up, and lead quality
Share weekly insights on objections, trends, and competitors
Report pipeline health, win/loss trends, and improvement opportunities
Travel
Studio Owner University® (1x/year)
Member Rally™ (1x/year)
Select industry events (Dance Teacher Web, Dance One Summit, Energize, Dance Educators Collective, Weissman Showcase, UDMA, prospect visits, and leadership-designated events)
Annual Ensemble off-site (as requested)
Sales Expectations
Build and maintain a new book of business
Achieve $180,000 total sales from Feb 15–Aug 30, 2026
$20,000/month (Feb 15–Apr 14)
$30,000/month (Apr 15–Jun 14)
$40,000/month (Jun 15–Aug 15)
Maintain a 70% close rate from final sales calls
Update pipeline and sales dashboard daily
Execute coordinated multi-touch ABM campaigns with marketing
Submit weekly sales reports and attend weekly leadership meetings
KPIs
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain strong client satisfaction, retention, and recurring revenue
Accurately track and report sales activity and performance
Compensation
Base: $25,000 annually (20+ hours/week)
Commission:
20% on first-year value of new memberships
5% on retained members (subsequent season)
20% on ticketed digital and live events
20% on new vendor sales
10% on reactivated former members (with discovery call)
Compensation follows Ensemble payroll practices; commission structure may evolve.
