Serves as a sales and account management executive. Prospects for new clients through a variety of sources and sales leads utilizing the Internet, trade publications, competitive sources and trade shows. Develops proposals and evaluation criteria, and negotiates sponsorship and advertising agreements. Coordinates closely with local level counterparts and officials of other agencies or components to execute agreements. Obtains legal counseling as necessary. Acts as account manager for clients to ensure that benefits are executed and terms of agreement are met. Attends related board, committee, and special event planning meetings. Provides expert advice and assistance that includes training. Makes presentations, writes, and performs public relations duties. Key Requirements
