
Sales Manager – Cleveland, OH
Job Summary

Come join our team today as a Sales Manager in the Cleveland, OH market. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hunting and prospecting new industrial business opportunities for the territory. Using your highly talented sales experience, you will follow Meyer’s proven sales process to prospect, uncover prospective customer’s high yield needs, develop a customized chemical program for them and acquire the business.
Job Duties
Average 6-8 scheduled sales calls per day
Grow territory through acquiring new business
Perform manual and physical tasks daily
Administrative duties including building calendar, updating notes and entering sales orders through our CRM (Oracle Netsuite)
Travel up to 250-mile radius in territory weekly
Potential for 2 overnights a month
Territory Coverage This position covers Cleveland metro, Youngstown area, and Pittsburgh metro
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience hunting and prospecting new business opportunities at a chemical company or similar industrial type industry.
Excellent leadership and strong ability of working with and indirectly managing sales support colleagues.
Excellent work history
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy

$70,000 base salary + commission
