
Title: Sales Ambassador

Reports to: CEO
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 plus commission
Essential job functions:
Devoted to Jesus Christ as a Born-Again Christian, who fully supports the DeepRoots Statement of Faith and performs in such a way as to fulfill the ministry mission statement
Participates in a local Christian church as a member in good standing
Displays spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities that reflect Christ and His character
Possesses a deep and thorough knowledge of the Bible and a commitment to relying upon the Holy Spirit for wisdom and power
Committed to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) according to Christ’s command and refuses to cooperate with false gospels
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding presentation and organizational skills
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
Product knowledge
Able to train others and troubleshoot customer issues
Knowledge of the Christian school market
Knowledge of biblical worldview and apologetics would be helpful
Able to understand target market analysis and apply information when contacting schools
Excellent relational and leadership skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects and pivot quickly
Desire to achieve excellence and exceed expectations, goals, and deadlines
Innovative mindset to contribute new ideas and methods to achieve more efficiency
Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software
Passion for partnering with schools in reaching children with the Gospel
More detailed job duties:
Contact schools to introduce and promote DeepRoots as their Bible curriculum
Present demonstrations of the curriculum to school administrators and teachers
Follow up with schools to answer questions as needed
Manage and improve lead generation campaigns and track success by measuring results
Represent DeepRoots Bible in a Christ-like and professional manner on the phone, electronically, and in person
Work collaboratively with the subscriptions team to assess current projections
Work with the accounting team to produce estimates and invoices as necessary
Negotiate with schools on discounts and scholarships as needed to make it work for them
Train schools to use the curriculum
Onboard schools and provide support
Manage 75 or more school accounts
Monitor schools’ progress throughout the year to ensure their success
Cultivate and deepen school relationships
Travel to conventions to promote DeepRoots through exhibiting
Travel to schools to meet, help, train, and cultivate relationships
Oversee and participate in the steps necessary to achieve goals
Work with the marketing team to give input on marketing pieces that will help generate leads
Maintain charts and other management tools to track leads, communication, responses, and the status of prospective and existing schools
Perform other duties as needed
Education and experience requirements:
High School diploma required
A degree from a four-year college or university is preferred
Demonstrated experience with people
Technology requirements:
Familiar with Google Workspace
Salesforce knowledge a plus
Physical requirements:
The ability to remain in a seated or stationary position for a significant portion of the workday
The ability to see details at close range and to hear and speak clearly to communicate with colleagues and clients
Working conditions:
Works remotely from home Must be able to multitask May be required to work overtime Employees who are required to drive for company business must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record. If an incident or accident occurs, insurance claims are to be directed to the employee’s primary vehicle insurance. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
