A Brief Overview
The Events Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of all corporate, client-facing, and internal events for FirstBank. This role ensures that events align with the bank's brand, business objectives, and marketing strategies, delivering measurable results and exceptional experiences for attendees. The Event Manager collaborates with business units, vendors, and agencies, manages event budgets, and oversees logistics from concept to completion. What You’ll Do
Develops, manages, and supervises the execution of a calendar of events (corporate and retail clients, internal) aligned with strategic business goals and brand standards, including designing concepts, themes and experiences to maximize engagement and brand impact. Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Leads the negotiation and maximization of FirstBank’s brand presence at events, ensuring strategic alignment, optimal visibility, and ROI across all sponsored initiatives. Manage the implementation of approved sponsorship activations and post-event/result reporting, including preparing and presenting analyses, recommendations, and impact assessments to the Donations & Sponsorships Committee for decision-making. Coordinates all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, AV, invitations, registration, and on-site management. Implements and monitors event KPIs and metrics, providing post-event analysis and actionable recommendations, including but not limited to attendance rate, budget adherence, NPS, Lead Generation, Brand Engagement, ROI, Media Coverage, and Internal Stakeholder Satisfaction, among others Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, legal, and safety requirements for every event. Supervises and develops event support staff and collaborates with cross-functional teams. Develop special projects as requested by the Marketing & Corporate Communications Director and/or the Marketing VP What You’ll Need to Succeed
Strong written and verbal skills in Spanish and English Capable of working under pressure and deadlines Creativity and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Expertise in marketing automation platforms Events Management and logistics expertise MS Office Suite sound knowledge and ability Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in marketing Events Management, Business Administration, or Communications. 5-7 Event planning, coordination, and execution in a corporate or agency setting, including supervision of event support staff.
