Overview Location: New York, NY
Vogue is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Manager, Social Media to assist with day-to-day social posting and strategy for the social team. This role is primarily responsible for daily posting and scheduling on Facebook and Twitter and posting and scheduling for various other platforms including Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok. The role works collaboratively across teams to roll out monthly cover launches and features, deliver on sponsorships, manage social partnerships, cover social rollout at events, and collaborate on growth strategy. This role is based in New York and reports to the Global Director of Social Media.
Along with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail, the candidate must have in-depth social media experience and a proven history of growing social audiences. The role is intended for someone who cares deeply about the important topics we cover, has strong writing skills, knowledge of analytical tools, and is enthusiastic about joining an agile team. This person has an instinct for what’s on (and off) brand, has an eye for powerful visuals, understands how data can inform a smart editorial and social strategy, and is an expert at juggling multiple projects, managing deadlines, distilling social numbers into actionable insights, and advocating for strong social content across the organization. This role is Sunday-Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day posting, editing and optimisation of content on multiple social media platforms including Tiktok, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
Master Vogue’s editorial voice.
Build creative assets for various social platforms when necessary.
Work closely with editorial stakeholders to roll out monthly cover stories and features across social media platforms
Report on content performance and present social insights and best practices.
Distribute footage to Vogue global markets
Edit social video taken at live events i.e. Fashion Month
Manage and create cut downs of Youtube library to promote on social platforms.
Manage and maintain a comprehensive event calendar for fashion months, tentpole events, and cultural happenings relevant to Vogue's audience, offering visibility to all Vogue markets to facilitate awareness and preparation.
Execute social content plans for tentpole events such as Fashion Month, Met Gala, and Vogue World.
Cover breaking news (predominantly celebrity, fashion and beauty) for Vogue digital platforms.
Produce social video from concept to publish.
Assist with podcast promotional social content creation for all weekly episodes of The Run-Through to drive listens.
Assist in the the identification and hiring process of external crews needed for US Vogue social video projects
The expected base salary range for this position is from $71,500-$77,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
