Key Account Partner, Business Development
The Executive Education Center originated in Ann Arbor, MI, USA in 1935 and by the 1940's was offering an array of courses, workshops, and conferences with an overwhelming response from corporations. Today, the Center offers more than 30 different public program offerings and an extensive portfolio of custom programs annually serving over 4,000 business executives around the world. Since the early 90's we have had a global footprint with locations in the United States, India, and China. We deliver programs globally, wherever our corporate clients request.
This role is hybrid with on-site expectations in Ann Arbor, MI 3 days per week. Domestic and international travel is required. Will require work during early mornings, nights, and/or weekends.

Overview The role supports development and delivery of executive education programs by managing client engagements, working with clients and faculty to design and deliver custom programs, and achieving revenue and margin targets. You will be eligible for a sales incentive program with the potential to earn additional compensation above the base salary. You will report to a Managing Director of Custom Programs.
What You'll Do You will develop a portfolio of client engagements focused on the ongoing management and growth of the portfolio. You will have revenue and margin responsibility, and work with clients and faculty to sell, design, and deliver custom executive education programs.

Responsibilities 60% Client Relationship Management
Develop and execute strategic key account plans to strengthen client relationships and drive year-round engagement
Expand business within existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and aligning solutions to evolving client needs
Manage a portfolio of clients and programs to ensure growth, satisfaction, and high-quality service
Provide consultative support by identifying client challenges and recommending tailored solutions
Lead client feedback initiatives and implement service enhancements
25% Business Development and Program Design
Grow Executive Education's custom portfolio through strategic relationship building and business development
Consult with corporate leaders to assess talent needs and align learning solutions
Lead proposal development, RFP processes, budgeting, and contract acquisition for new and existing clients
Collaborate with faculty and design teams to create and deliver high-impact programs
Co-direct program delivery, ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction
Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales and contribution targets
Initiate and maintain prospect engagement through targeted outreach and follow-up
Design and host events to attract and nurture client relationships
5% Special Assignments
Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects that support Executive Education and Ross School of Business goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experiences to include account management and business development, preferably in a corporate learning or executive education environment.
Experience doing business and client relationship development with executives and learning leaders in large global firms with well-developed learning strategies.
Program design (of management/executive level learning experiences).
Knowledge of adult learning theory and practices.
Consultative selling skills.
Demonstrated team interaction skills are necessary.
Manage finances for organizational learning or consulting projects.
Modes of Work Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Additional Information The posting range for this position is $67,700 - $87,300. This position is eligible for a sales incentive program with the potential to earn additional compensation above the base salary. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
