
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team. This job requires multitasking to take in customer orders, fulfill price quotations and working on digital and print production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both graphic design and customer service. Print experience highly valued.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality designs that align with our brand identity and effectively communicate our message across various platforms. The position will mainly handle print ready or near-print ready artwork provided by the client. Any graphic design or adjustment will be made and the artwork will be scheduled for production.
The role will also manage production, ensuring all orders are produced in a timely manner and communicating the timeline to the rest of the team.
Duties
Create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media, including digital, print, and social media. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, to develop innovative designs that meet project requirements. Execute typesetting and color management to ensure consistency across all design materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions. Customer Service: Assisting customers via telephone, email, and in person at our office with their print, promotional, and design projects. You will be responsible for entering orders into our proprietary management software, which we will train you how to use. Duties will also include, but are not limited to custom project quoting, customer correspondence through the order process, vendor relations, and filing. Safely operate print and bindery equipment including digital presses, wide format inkjet machines, cutters, and laminators. Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator. Strong skills in typesetting, color management, logo design, and general graphic design principles. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A portfolio showcasing your design work is required for consideration. Previous printing experience is a plus but not required.
