
Strategic Marketing Manager, Global-PT

Working out of our Charlotte, NC, office, the Strategic Marketing Manager, Global -PT will work directly with the VP Marketing & Sustainability and team. The Strategic Marketing Manager will work globally to support and help execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive profitable growth and purposeful expansion of market share with focus on the paper and packaging industries.
The ideal candidate is a versatile strategic marketer who thrives on solving complex problems and driving strategic growth. This role is
hands-on and project oriented —ideal for someone who can
pivot between research, analysis, and execution to support high impact initiatives . A proven track record of supporting segment-specific growth through market analysis and insights, competitive intelligence, and keen project management. S/he will support and represent the VP Marketing & Sustainability
on cross-functional and cross region projects critical to the business . The most successful candidate will have experience successfully managing multiple projects and collaborating across functions to create demonstrable results. The right candidate will roll up their sleeves and do what is necessary to meet deliverables. Key Responsibilities
Market Insights & Research
Conduct primary and secondary research to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities. Develop market outlook for key segments and product categories Build market sizing models and competitive benchmarks to inform strategic decisions. Maintain up-to-date competitor profiles and dashboards. Monitor competitive solutions from sustainability lens Analyze positioning, pricing, and innovation strategies to guide differentiation and commercial strategy. Strategic Growth Projects
Coordinate cross functional projects such as category expansion, sustainability programs, and pricing strategy. Develop project plans, manage timelines, and escalate risk to key milestones to VP Marketing & Sustainability. Performance Tracking & Insights
Define KPIs for strategic initiatives and monitor progress. Deliver concise reports and recommendations to leadership. Optimize models based on performance insights and business impact. Ad hoc Special Projects
Support VP Marketing & Sustainability on high priority initiatives requiring rapid research, analysis, and stakeholder alignment. Represent the department on key cross-functional and/or cross-regional projects for the business Critical Success Factors
Alignment with Archroma’s culture Alignment of marketing strategy with overall business and growth objectives Support of strategic growth projects that drive measurable revenue, pipeline or market expansion Use of data and insights to guide strategy, optimize performance, inform leadership decisions and influence senior stakeholders Desired Experience
5+ years in marketing strategy, business analysis, or related roles. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline. Background in packaging or specialty chemicals, or related industry. Proven track record of success in marketing, preferably within the chemicals or packaging industry. Experience with market & business assessments, general marketing, competitive analysis, and growth frameworks. Proficiency in Excel/Power BI, and PowerPoint Experience operating in B2B environment across multiple segmentspreferred Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; exposure to PE environment helpful Proven history of earning the trust and confidence of customers, peers, partners, and employees and representing the Company with professionalism, integrity, and quality. Desired Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong marketing strategy foundation and understanding of the varied tools and approaches utilized to identify business opportunities. Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency. Able to turn data into actionable insights and collate it into simple and easy-to-understand consumable presentations.
