Overview
Design scenery and set pieces for three annual productions including a spring production in March, a summer production in July, and The Nutcracker in December. Lead volunteer teams to implement design. Coordinate with Rockville Civic Ballet leadership, F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre technical specialists, and city leadership. Qualifications
Knowledge of construction of scenery and set pieces. Knowledge and experience maintaining and updating existing set pieces. Ability to lift/move scenery and set pieces. Experience
Set designer with a community ballet company. Supervision of volunteer construction crew. Involvement with load-in/strike of a ballet production. Collaboration with artistic and technical teams for set design for new ballet works. Education
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree
