We are seeking a strategic, insights driven forecasting leader to own US commercial forecasting across the portfolio, with significant visibility to executive leadership. This role will build and validate patient based models, drive consensus across Commercial, Finance, Supply, and Global stakeholders, and translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Forecast Ownership & Governance: Lead U.S. forecasting processes across all horizons (monthly/LBE, annual budget, long range plan) with focus on the Endocrinology franchise. Build and maintain dynamic, assumption-driven models supporting Commercial, Supply Planning, and Long‑Range Plan submissions; ensure version control and change management. Standardize templates/approaches, when possible. Ensure strong forecasting governance, including version control, documentation, and clear change management rationale. Partner with Data & Analytics to improve methodologies at regional and territory levels, where applicable. Align assumptions with Marketing, Market Access, Business Unit leads, Finance, GM, and Global teams. Collaborate closely with Finance on quarterly re forecasting, budget cycles, and long range plan development. Proactively stress-test and update forecast assumptions using the latest market data, Competitive Intelligence (CI), market research, RWE, and payer advisory boards. Clearly articulate monthly results vs. forecast, drivers, and implications, as well as risks and opportunities in forecasts. Depending on experience and bandwidth, there may be opportunities to contribute to GTN forecasting as well, which requires detailed understanding of applicable inputs to GTN calculations (e.g. channel mix, government pricing, etc.). Support Business Development evaluations and Global forecasting, as needed. Tools, Templates & Process Innovation Establish solid forecasting governance, templates, dashboards, and digital tools, where applicable. Provide analytics thought leadership and develop creative ad‑hoc models to address commercial questions (e.g., scenario planning, expansions, label changes, LOE dynamics). Manage vendors effectively; support data audits when needed and develop new forecast models for new portfolio products. Perform other duties as may be assigned. Embrace artificial intelligence platforms where appropriate to help drive efficiency and effectiveness in work. General Act in full compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies including adverse events / pharmacovigilance responsibilities. Perform additional duties as may be assigned. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Finance, Commercial, Forecasting, or Business Development within the biopharmaceutical industry. Knowledge and Skills
Excellent project and task management skills including proactivity, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management and plan execution Good communication skills, problem solving, follow-through, and agility required Able to analyze and understand complex data and succinctly communicate findings and projections to leadership Able to work independently and take lead role on assigned projects While being organized, and logical, must balance this with a high degree of flexibility to change direction when needed A confident self-starter, who can work independently and creatively but also be a team player Champion ideas and support others to achieve goals Proficient in Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.). Comfortable working with BI reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) as well as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Based upon job requirements, employee may be required at times to attend meetings including travel out of state over weekends and nights.
