
The Graphic Designer will support the Division’s internal and external communications by creating and producing visually engaging materials, ensuring consistency with branding guidelines. This position coordinates projects across the division and ensures all departments are maintaining appropriate and consistent brand standards.
Responsibilities
Design visually cohesive materials including but not limited to infographics, presentation templates, website assets, and event graphics.
Translate data and complex information into appealing visual formats for reports or presentations. Collaborate with stakeholders across the division, providing recommendations and ensuring that requests align with the mission and vision of the division. Provide recommendations and suggestions based on the project and medium.
Ensure projects are logged and prioritized according to division priorities.
Stay up-to-date on industry changes and best practices and translate that information to colleagues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital arts, visual communications, or a related field • 1-3 years experience in a graphic design field
Proficiency with design and content tools (e.g., Adobe Suite).
Experience with both preparing files for print and optimizing for web
Skilled in illustrating concepts for different media
Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to cross-departmental work
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in a higher education setting
Experience with CMS platforms (Wordpress, Drupal, etc.)
