Overview

The

Director, Parts, Garments & Accessories

is accountable for building, leading and executing the Parts, Garments & Accessories product and sales plans. This includes overseeing the PG&A department including the product development lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. The Director, PG&A will partner closely with CFMOTO China’s accessories, industrial design, product engineering and product teams to deliver product to win in the US market. Responsibilities

Leads and oversees daily operations of the PG&A department Defines the accessory product strategy and roadmap Acts as the accessories segment expert, with a deep understanding of the industry and competitor products, and what our competitive advantage is/can be with product features & benefits Analyzes and proposes consumer and dealership data into product planning and provide impact analysis and recommendations Collaborates closely with CFMOTO China’s accessories, product and engineering teams Supports the LRP team strategy by advising on future model specification requirements by an in-depth knowledge of service/warranty problems, customer/dealer preferences, and general industry trends Participates in market segments studies, and statistical analysis, to understand customer needs & desires, and makes recommendations for current product line updates & improvements Works with Sales & Marketing to provide product related support for all messaging materials and shows. Attend shows as required. Oversees the maintenance of detailed product specifications database of current company products, as well as competitive products across the industry Champions the lifecycle management of current products, and advises how strategic new product features can be introduced for success Collaborates with vehicle product development team to support integration of accessory parts from internal departments, or third-party suppliers Supports the R&D team with procuring competitive products for evaluation and benchmarking purposes Manages the department’s budget and monitors expenses Responsible for setting product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals Responsible for operating within standard operating procedures and following all company health & safety guidelines Ensures a clean and safe work environment Other duties as required Qualifications

Education & Experience Required BS/BA, from a four-year college, with a product focused outlook 10+ years’ previous experience in similar role, preferably within the Powersports, Automotive or similar industry Work experience as a department director or similar position Outstanding leadership and organizational skills Ability to work independently with strong teamwork & collaboration skills Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and experienced with Stage-Gate methodology Experienced in MS Office 365, in using its tools to facilitate group collaboration Strong customer focus and service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, and vendors at all levels in a cross-cultural setting Domestic travel can be expected up to 20%, with occasional international trips to China, Europe or other locations as needed The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of job-related factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, certifications, education, location and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $150k-$200k annually. Our competitive salaries are just one component to CFMOTO’s total compensation package.
